If any of this is happening, call us today

Tell us what you feel and we will guide you. Each of these can be seen same-day during open hours.

Damage

Broken, chipped or cracked tooth

Save any pieces and keep them moist. A sharp edge can be smoothed and the tooth rebuilt.

Seen same-day

Trauma

Knocked-out tooth

Minutes matter for an adult tooth. Hold it by the crown, keep it in milk, and call on the way.

Seen same-day

Pain

Severe toothache

Throbbing pain that wakes you usually means the nerve is involved. It rarely settles on its own.

Seen same-day

Swelling

Abscess or swelling

A bump on the gum, a bad taste, or facial swelling points to infection that needs prompt care.

Seen same-day

Restoration

Lost filling or crown

An exposed tooth is tender to hot and cold. Keep the crown if you have it so we can recement it.

Seen same-day

Wisdom teeth

Wisdom-tooth pain

Aching, pressure, or swelling at the back of the jaw is worth a call before it worsens.

Common questions

Emergency dentist questions

How fast can I be seen?

We hold urgent slots in the schedule and aim to see emergencies same-day during open hours. Call 368.210.3625 as early in the day as you can, since that gives us the best chance to fit you in.

Do you take walk-ins?

We recommend calling first so we can hold a spot and give you first-aid guidance before you arrive. Phone 368.210.3625 during open hours and we will tell you the soonest time we can see you today.

Do you accept CDCP?

Yes. We welcome Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) patients and direct bill major Canadian insurers. Pricing follows the Alberta Dental Fee Guide, and payment plans are available.

What if I am in a lot of pain?

Call us right away during open hours. In the meantime, rinse with warm salt water, use a cold compress on the outside of your cheek, and take the pain relief you would normally use as directed. For facial swelling that affects breathing or swallowing, call 911.

Do you do same-day extractions and repairs?

The first goal is always to ease your pain. Depending on what Dr. Lesko finds during your exam and X-ray, that may mean a same-day filling, crown repair, recementing a crown, or an extraction. You get a clear written estimate before any treatment begins.

Don't wait in pain.

Call now to be seen today during open hours, or book online. Dr. Lesko and the team will help you find the right next step.
